Our company Sumatra Pasak Bumi, has, over the years, run extensive scientific studies with mice. Because lab mice have been in short supply in Indonesia after the Asian financial crisis, and because of repeated need for its own safety research, Sumatra Pasak Bumi started its own mouse farm several years back. As an off-shot, Sumatra Pasak Bumi has now become a major supplier of lab mice to many universities and research projects in Western Indonesia.
